Loans Assistant Labasa & Loans Assistant Seaqaqa
Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) is a statutory body providing loans and advances to sugar cane growers in Fiji. SCGF is one of the key stakeholders in the Sugar Cane Industry and as such, has an important role in supporting the interests of cane growers. SCGF is currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced personnel to join its operations based at our Labasa & Seaqaqa Office for the position mentioned herein.
Loans Assistant Labasa & Loans Assistant Seaqaqa
This role is based at Seaqaqa Office and reports to the Loans Officer Labasa and ultimately to Manager Lending & Operations. The responsibility of the officer includes providing prompt, friendly and courteous service to the Sugar Cane Growers and explaining/promoting Fund’s products and provide support to Lending Team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities are as follows without limiting to:
- Providing prompt, friendly and courteous service to the Sugar Cane Growers and explaining/promoting Fund’s products;
- Treating cane growers on a fair and equitable basis having regard to their needs and resources;
- Interviewing sugar cane growers in respect of loan applications;
- Supporting and participation with Loans Officer Labasa and the Management Team in achieving the Fund’s goals and objective, arrears collection;
- Good understanding and user level capacity of Core Lending System [CBS]; and
- Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma level preferably in Finance, Agriculture or Business;
- Possess relevant lending knowledge of Sugar Industry regulations;
- Proficiency in relevant Computer applications;
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar field; and
- A valid Driver’s License would be an advantage.
