Sugar Cane Growers Fund is committed not only to provide suitable and very affordable services to its growers, but also committed to provide modern and contemporary digital platform, said Chief Executive Officer Raj Sharma.
These include my SCGF App, Alert and Online Services together with M-PAiSA and MyCash services. This provides another level of reach and connectivity in the digital space for our growers. SCGF has total 7183 accounts for 5413 growers representing 47% of the total growers of 11,398.
This year has been a great year with some of the achievements like conclusion of our ICT project, three awards for Productivity and business Excellence, various policy implementations, setting the risk management platform and approving 2373 applications valued $9.536m as of 30th November 2022, which is 27% more than that of same period last year,
This morning; we have two events and first one is the draw for the mobile phone given with kind complements of our business service providers Datec Fiji Ltd and Vodafone Fiji. We thank them for three Samsung A 12 mobile phones and are looking forward for the continued services and support.
The promotion started on 31th January 2022 ended 16 December 2022 Total registration so far has been 354, of 177 are our existing customers or growers. So all those 177 of our growers go into the draw.
In addition to various services from mySCGFApp, total applications received were 49 – worth $348,624.76 and approved are 41 – $220,172.76. Most of the application were received from Labasa office.
The second event is launch our “Back to School” promotion loan for the growers as they prepare for the next seasons when the school opens in January.
