The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) wishes to inform all cane growers and stakeholders that a total cane payment of $5.416 million has been received. Of this amount, only $0.321 million has been deducted, meaning no deductions have been made to growers’ accounts except for those in arrears.
Growers who wish to make voluntary repayments are encouraged to deposit funds at any of our District Offices. Please note that outstanding balances are subject to interest, and timely repayments are advised.
SCGF also highlights that for Priority Loans and the Cane Development Revolving Fund, there may be no automatic deductions by the Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC). Growers who are in default or have existing arrangements are urged to contact their nearest SCGF office or make direct payments.
Despite unforeseen technical and operational challenges, all cane payments have been successfully processed. Our Technology and Finance teams have worked diligently to ensure completion, said Chief Executive Officer Mr. Raj Sharma.
“We are in close coordination with our bankers, HFC, to ensure payments are finalized and disbursed without further delay,” Mr. Sharma stated. “However, transfers to other banks may take additional time. We strongly recommend growers check their accounts on Thursday, 16th October 2025.”
SCGF sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience and understanding of our growers during this period.
For further updates or assistance, please contact your nearest district office, visit our official website, or follow us on Facebook.
