Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) will launch more promotions in the months ahead as an incentive to engage its members.

Fund chief executive officer, Raj Sharma’s comments followed the conclusion of the pre-harvesting loan promotion.
“The Sugar Cane Growers Fund app is expected to go live by the end of this month,” he said.
“The disaster preparedness loan promotion starts next month.”
The pre-harvest loan promotion closed on September 30, with the draw held on October 7.
The promotion was launched on May 3, with 187 applications processed, to the valued $230, 870.
Mr Sharma said prize monies were nominal.
The first prize was $100, the second was $75, while $50 was the third prize.
Mr Raj said the loan promotion was one of the many ways of engaging with growers.
One of the winners, Shaleshni Lata of Natua, Seaqaqa, who produced over 300 tonnes of cane received her prize money.
Other winners were Satish Prakash and Jone Bari, both of Ba.
